While doing my thrift store rounds for holiday decor/props, I got more than I expected–a big hug of good will from Mayor James and a great photo of him with my little duck! Secret Santa funds have been forwarded to a fund for an ill co-worker.

Trolling through the piles of unwanted records looking for colored vinyl, I found this British import–Shirley Bassey (self titled, 1961). The record is probably unplayable (bad scratches) but the jacket is pretty sweet, complete w/ Parlophone stickers.
