I’ve made several versions of this necklace. The “U” is from a broken umbrella. I need to make more of these-usually popular at art/craft/maker events.
FINALLY updated my booth shot. It took all day in the blazing heat but it’s done. Many of these events require a booth shot, so it’s necessary to have a photo of the current set up. I did not include my entire inventory so as not to clutter up the image. Besides making the jewelry, I’ve created some of the displays.
Additional benefits in this exercise of aggravation include:
1) endlessly rearranging the composition without a deadline.
2) figuring out how to install tent walls correctly
3) take photos with camera not the phone
4) the water weight retention from last night’s dinner won’t be a problem after 6hours setting up!
I do enjoy hitting the road and meandering through out of the way spots. Vintage signage and architecture are a favorite. I’m experimenting with “googie” shapes.
Wow! What a great weekend. I’m working on filling out my bracelet inventory-made good progress.
I made a similar necklace last fall with red coral. This version has lapis and sodalite beads. I was informed that the center flatware piece was from a tomato server.
